Rediscovering the history of the Plains of Abraham
They are at the heart of the city and yet they still surprise us with the richness of their history. Like this attempted American invasion in the winter of 1775 which has remained unknown.
To learn more, head to the Musée des plaines to visit the new exhibition Québec 1775: snowed under and besieged . It is divided into six artistic installations, which tell the daily life of a woman named Baboche - a spy! - who lived during this period.
Recommended: The tour can be done with headphones and an interactive tablet, which allows for a better understanding of the historical facts. School-age children will enjoy the narrative.

RécréOFUN has had a makeover! Completely renovated, the family amusement centre has been expanded, becoming the largest children's amusement centre in Eastern Quebec. In addition to the amusements already available for young customers, including the giant maze, arcades and trampolines, the L'Ancienne-Lorette centre has added several new features.

Until October 31, the îlot des Palais and the Société du patrimoine urbain de Québec are offering the new VéloRallye La Rivière Saint-Charles au fil du temps . The 8 km loop lets you navigate through the history of the Saint-Charles River, while discovering various caches hidden along the way, using a GPS.
